Shift: 07:30 AM-06:00 AM
CT Technologist will support Interventional Procedures for minimally invasive, image-guidedprocedures. Responsibilities will include running all imaging equipment,sterile scrub, and case circulating in the radiology and OR settings. There is no diagnostic CT associated with this rotation. On call required for procedures.Unit Description: Locatedin the heart of Beacon Hill, MGH has one of the largest, most dynamic IRdivisions on the East coast. MGH IR staff technologists collaborate with a teamof nurses, advanced practice providers, attending physicians, residents, andtech assistants to provide a cutting edge multi-disciplinary approach topatient care. MGH IR technologists cover clinical areas across MGH includingIR, CT-guided procedures, Vascular Surgery, Cardiac Hybrid procedures,Endovascular Neurosurgery, and Endoscopic interventions. The IR Technologistsupports diagnostic and interventional procedures including and not limited toangiography, embolization, venous access, venography, myelography, abdominalinterventions, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and biopsy. Required Education/Certification:Candidates must be a graduate of an AMA approved program in RadiologicTechnology ARRT certification Valid Mass. State Radiography License BLScertification. CT Licensure for MA and ARRT required.
