Description
Unit: Med Surg (20–34 beds)
Patient Ratio: 1:6
Dress Code: Any color scrubs
Key Requirements
- Experience:
- 2+ years current Med Surg (required)
- Telemetry (required)
- Basic Dysrhythmia (strongly required)
- Certifications (must be in hand at submission):
- BLS, ACLS (AHA), NIHSS
- License:
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required at submission)
- Skills/Other:
- Must float to all MS units
- No block scheduling
- Meditech Expanse (preferred)
- Must have own vehicle
Submission & Compliance Rules
- Must include:
- Permanent address (no candidates within 50 miles)
- Work history, skills checklist (within 1 year)
- 1 recent supervisor reference
- All certifications & MA license
- Interview availability (at least 2 specific time slots; “anytime” not accepted)
Scheduling Rules
- Max 5 days RTO (must be declared upfront; no changes later)
- Must be available for 2 holidays (Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day)
- No RTO or schedule requests accepted after submission/interview
Other Details
- Floating: Required
- Travelers must be reachable and have voicemail set up
