Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – CTOR / Cardiothoracic Operating Room

Travel Nursing Contract – 13 Weeks

Shift Details

• 10 Hour Shifts
• Schedule: Variable Days
• Shift Timing: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Includes 30-minute unpaid lunch break

On-Call Requirements

• Minimum 7 on-call days per 4-week schedule
• Includes:
  • 5 weekday night calls
  • Minimum 1 weekend call
• Based on staffing and departmental needs

Pay & Radius Rules

• 75-mile radius rule applies for travelers
• Local candidates accepted at $10 less than posted travel rate (within 75 miles)

  • Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
  • Aortic Stenosis (AS)
  • Mitral Regurgitation (MR)

Floating Requirements

• Floating may be required based on census needs

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CTOR RN experience required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher
• Active New York State RN License required

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
