Description

Position: Registered Nurse – Interventional Radiology (IR)
Location: 1901 Clinch Ave Knoxville, TN 37916
Duration: 13-week contract | Shift: Day (4x10 hrs, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Start Date: 06/01/2026 | Openings: 1
Provide nursing care in Interventional Radiology procedures including angiography, stenting, thrombolysis, and GI/GU interventions
Administer and monitor procedural (conscious) sedation and IV medications
Assist with neuro IR procedures (cerebral angiography, carotid interventions, thrombolysis)
Monitor patients, manage dysrhythmias, and support ventilated patients
Perform IV therapy, patient prep, and post-procedure care
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years of current IR/Neuro IR experience
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS required
- Experience with Cerner charting system
- Strong skills in sedation, vents, and medication titration
