Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring Neuro IVR experience, conscious sedation skills, and on-call availability.
Details
- Interventional Radiology (IR) unit in a hospital setting
- Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts (7:00am–5:30pm) with a rotating day off
- On-call requirement of one night per week (5:30pm–7:00am) and one weekend per month (Friday 5:30pm–Monday 7:00am)
- Must be within a 30-minute call-back radius
- Charting via Cerner (experience required)
- Floating is required
Requirements
- Active TN or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Color blind testing required prior to start
- Interventional Radiology (IVR) experience required, including Neuro IVR
- Proficiency in conscious sedation, ventilator management, and medication titration
- Cerner EMR experience required
Additional Information
- Performs interventional radiology procedures including Neuro IVR cases with conscious sedation
- Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
- RTO during holidays or holiday weeks cannot be accommodated; travelers may discuss holiday time-off requests directly with the manager after arriving onsite
- Restricted holiday periods include: Valentine's Day, Spring Break, Easter, Mother's Day, Memorial Day, Father's Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Fall Break, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Day
