📌 RN – Job Summary (Quick View)
- Role: Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room
- Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM (Day Shift)
- Schedule: No weekends
- Weekly Hours: ~36 hours/week (3 shifts × 12 hours)
- Call Requirement: Up to 40 hours per 6-week schedule
🩺 What You’ll Do
You’ll be responsible for delivering safe, patient-focused care while managing a group of patients in a fast-paced OR setting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessment: Evaluate patient condition & make timely clinical decisions
- Care Planning: Create, implement, and adjust care plans collaboratively
- Monitoring: Track patient responses & document outcomes
- Patient Education: Guide patients & families through treatment and discharge
- Leadership: Delegate tasks, mentor staff, and support team collaboration
🎯 What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 2+ years acute OR RN (inpatient) experience (recent within 6 months)
- Skills: Circulator experience required
- Certifications: BLS & ACLS (required)
- System: Epic experience preferred
- License: Active KY RN license at submission
