Job Title: RN – Emergency Room (Level I Trauma)

Location: Camden, NJ

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift Details: 12hr Night Shift (36 hours/week) – Friday to Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekends Only

Job Summary

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse provides high-quality, rapid-response care to patients in a Level I Trauma Center. This role requires advanced clinical expertise, strong triage skills, and the ability to manage high-acuity trauma and emergency cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity
• Provide emergency care for trauma and critical patients
• Administer medications and emergency interventions
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in trauma resuscitations and emergency procedures

Patient Population & Conditions

• Adult and pediatric emergency patients
• Trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory distress, and acute illnesses

Required Qualifications

• Active NJ RN License – Required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA) – Required
• TNCC Certification – Required
• Minimum 3 years ER RN experience
• Minimum 2 years Level I Trauma experience

Skills Required

• Strong triage and critical thinking skills
• Trauma and emergency response expertise
• Cardiac monitoring and emergency interventions
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments

Scheduling Details

• Weekend-only schedule (Friday–Sunday nights)
