Registered Nurse – Labor &amp; Delivery  Location: Largo, Maryland  Duration: 13-week contract (Night shift: 3x12 hrs, 7:30 PM – 8:00 AM)<ul><li>Provide care to laboring mothers and newborns in a busy L&amp;D unit (100–200 births/month)</li><li>Assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections</li><li>Monitor fetal heart activity (EFM) and manage obstetrical triage</li><li>Administer medications including Pitocin, Magnesium Sulfate, and insulin drips</li><li>Manage postpartum care, pain control (epidurals/PCA), and hemorrhage/shock cases</li><li>Requirements:<ul><li>Minimum 2+ years L&amp;D experience</li><li>No first-time travelers accepted</li><li>BLS, NRP, STABLE required</li><li>MD RN License required</li><li>Experience with Epic preferred</li></ul></li><li>Work Environment:<ul><li>Patient ratio 1:2 (up to 3 for low acuity)</li><li>Every other weekend required</li><li>Floating required within specialty</li></ul></li></ul>
