Description

Registered Nurse – CVICU
Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota
Duration: 12-week contract (Night shift: 3x12 hrs, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Provide care in a high-acuity Cardiovascular ICU for post-cardiac surgery and critical patients
Manage ventilators, CRRT (Prismaflex), and advanced hemodynamic monitoring (PA catheters)
Care for patients with IABP, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, and post open-heart surgery (direct from OR)
Administer and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips and sedation
Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, ABGs, and multi-organ dysfunction
Requirements:
- Minimum 2+ years CVICU experience
- Travel experience required (no first-time travelers)
- BLS & ACLS required
- Experience with PA catheter interpretation, IABP, Impella required
- CRRT required | ECMO preferred
Work Environment:
- Patient ratio 1:2 (Adults & Geriatrics)
- Every other weekend required
- Floating required across ICU units (CVICU, MICU, Neuro ICU)
