💼 CVICU RN – Job Snapshot (Quick View)
🕒 Shift: Night Shift – 3×12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
📅 Weekly Hours: 36 hours/week
🏥 Unit: CVICU (Cardiovascular ICU)
👩⚕️ Patient Ratio: 1:1 – 1:2 (may vary if floated)
📌 Experience Required:
- Minimum 2 years of current CVICU experience
- SICU experience considered with CVICU training
🧳 Travel Info:
- First-time travelers: ✅ Accepted
- Locals: ✅ Accepted
📆 Schedule Expectations:
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as needed
- RTO must be pre-approved at submission
🔄 Floating:
- Required across ICU, PACU, ED (ICU holds), and IMC units
🩺 Patient Types:
- Fresh open-heart cases
- Ventilated patients
- Renal failure (acute & chronic)
- Chest tubes & lumbar drains
⚙️ Must-Have Experience:
- Devices: Impella, IABP, CRRT (Prismax) or fresh heart cases
- Skills: CABG, MVR, AVR, TAVR, Swan, Flotrack, A-lines, Temp Pacers
📜 Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (Required)
