Position Information:
• Facility Department/Cost Center: 5285 (780) ER SERVICES
• Role (RN, Tech, LPN, PT, etc.): RN
• Specialty: ER
• Number of Openings: 1
• Shift:
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours
• Weekend Hours: Rotating Weekends/As Needed
• Call Requirements: No
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC
• Years of Experience: 5+ years in Emergency Department
• Float Requirements: As Needed.
• Additional Notes: N/A
Unit Information:
• Number of Beds: 31 beds and 2 Triage rooms; 7 of the 31 are utilized as Behavioral Health or Acute patients.
• Patient Ratios: 1:4; Exceptions to this can occur if nurse has a discharge that is awaiting transportation or admit holds or high-volume days and a patient requires immediate care.
• EHR: Primarily MedHost (ED) and Meditech: Utilized for admit holds (only the EMAR) and behavioral health patients if they are in department for extended periods.
• Supervisor: Ashlee Compton BSN, RN, Director of Emergency Services
• Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Serves all ages.
Hiring Profile:
• Must Have Skills/Experience: 5 years or more of experience in Emergency Department
• Preferred Skillset/Experience: Lots of Emergency Room experience
• Personality Fit: Professional, Positive, Compassionate, Team player
