Description
Position Details:
12 HR Nights (approx. 6:45pm - 7:15am ) - every fourth weekend and holiday
No locals accepted (Locals are considered within 50 miles of the facility)
Dysrhythmia Exam
At least 2 years of experience
BLS/ACLS/NRP required
Level 2 nursery, OB hospitalist, and neonatologist in house
Birth amount per month/year: 150-170 month, 2000 year
Will be floated to Maternity Intake Unit or Special Care Nursery
Hospital issued navy scrubs
Unit Specific Details:
Beds: 15 Labor and delivery- can use 5 for antepartum, 2 OB ED, 21 MIU, 14 SCN
Drips - oxytocin, magnesium, insulin
Lines/Drains/ Specific devices used - Machines - GE EFM, Novii, Alaris IV pumps, Phillips cardiac monitors, Oxygen - as needed, nitrous oxide available for laboring patients
Patient population - pregnant (antepartum), laboring (intrapartum), postpartum, including postpartum readmissions up to 6 weeks after delivery, IUFD (inutero-fetal demise)
Support staff - CST (certified surgical technicians)
Level 2 nursery, OB hospitalist, and neonatologist in house
