Job Title: Nurse Manager – Occupational Health / Wellness Center

📍 Location: Washington, DC (Onsite)

📅 Contract: 1 Year + 4 Option Years

Schedule

• Monday – Friday
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Occasional after-hours events (e.g., July 4th, federal events)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Manager to oversee operations of a federal Wellness Center supporting employee health, safety, and readiness. This role combines clinical care, leadership, compliance, and program management in an occupational health setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Wellness Center operations
• Provide ambulatory and emergency nursing care
• Lead wellness initiatives (flu clinics, screenings, health programs)
• Oversee AED program (31 units) and CPR training
• Ensure compliance with federal health, safety, and reporting standards
• Maintain confidential employee health records (HIPAA compliant)
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and clinic coverage
• Prepare monthly, semiannual, and annual reports
• Support high-level federal events with medical coverage

Required Qualifications

• BSN from accredited program
• Active RN license (any U.S. state)
• 4+ years clinical nursing experience
• 2+ years leadership/supervisory experience
• Experience in occupational health or ambulatory care (preferred)
• Current BLS certification
