Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Tech
Location: Rockville, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Position: Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech
- Accepts RCIS certification if candidate has IR experience
- Caseload ratio: 8-12 cases
- Weekend requirement: 1 full weekend per month on call
- On-call required approximately 7-10 days per month; STEMI call team must respond within 30 minutes of activation
- No floating between units
- Schedule: 10-hour day shifts, no block scheduling
- Start date: ASAP
- Facility is tobacco and nicotine-free; any nicotine use will result in automatic cancellation

Required Qualifications
- Valid Cath Lab Technologist license in Maryland
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technologist
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
