Description
Job Title: RN – MS/Telemetry Float Pool (Zone 3 – Denver)
Location: Denver (Zone-based float)
Shift: Nights | 12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week)
Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a Med-Surg/Telemetry Float Pool role across multiple hospitals in Zone 3. The RN will provide care to adult and geriatric patients and must be flexible to float across facilities and acuity levels.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 2 years MS/Telemetry experience (Neuro preferred)
- Active CO or Compact RN License
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA)
- Strong telemetry and patient care skills
- Comfortable floating to MS-Tele, PCU/Stepdown, and ICU (low acuity holds)
Work Details - Patient Ratio: 1:5–6
- Charting System: EPIC
- Common Cases: Cardiac, Neuro, Ortho, Oncology, Post-surgical, General Medicine
- Drips: Heparin
Scheduling & Floating - 6–9 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Must float across Zone 3 facilities including:
- OrthoColorado Hospital
- Longmont United Hospital
- St. Anthony Hospital
- St. Anthony North Hospital
- Assignments may be given 1–2 hours before shift (JIT scheduling)
No home base facility – must float within 60-mile radius

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
