Description

Job Title: RN – Telemetry Nurse Shift Manager (3SW NSM)
Shift: 12-hour Nights | 36 hrs/week | Every Other Weekend (EOW) | First to Float
Setting: Acute Care | Telemetry Unit | Charting: Cerner
Experience: Minimum 3 years RN experience | Recent Charge RN experience required | No first-time travelers
License & Certifications: Active RN License, BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NIHSS (AHA/APEX)
Role Summary:
- Hybrid role: Shift Manager + Charge Nurse + Clinical Mentor
- Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality patient care
- Support, guide, and supervise nursing staff
- Round on patients and address safety/service concerns
- Act as a clinical and operational resource
- Take charge nurse assignments based on unit needs
Orientation: 3 weeks (1 week classroom + 2 weeks unit-based)
Scheduling:
- Flexible scheduling based on unit needs
Key Expectations:
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to manage patient flow, staffing, and escalation issues
- Promote a positive work environment and patient experience

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
