RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CCU/ICU

Job Details:

• Work in a 30-bed Cardiovascular Unit (CVU) providing medical, pre-operative, and post-operative surgical care
• Care for medium to high acuity patients who are stable but have high potential of becoming unstable
• Serve patients from young adult through geriatric populations
• Treat patients with cardiac diagnoses, pre/post cardiac artery bypass surgery, carotid endarterectomy, acute myocardial infarction, post pacemaker insertion, arrhythmia detection, CHF, and pneumonia
• Maintain patient to nurse ratio not exceeding 1:4
• Must have current California RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EPIC charting experience required
• 2 years of critical care experience required
• Successful completion of prior traveler assignments required
• May float to other units including Med/Surg as needed
• Must be W-2 employee of agency
