Description

This is an ICU/PCU Hybrid contract as they are sister units, Mixed Critical Care unit (Neuro/Spine/Cardiac/Medical/Surgical Patient Mix)
RN ratio is 2:1 with Critical patients, flex to 3:1
Experience Requirements: 2 years of recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit minimum, must have experience with balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, open hearts,(MUST HAVE FOR NIGHTS) drawing own labs, PICC, no vascular access team, call on own consults, conduct own codes(must be comfortable)
License/ Certification Requirements: KS RN or Compact RN License, along with BLS, ACLS, & NIH
Floating: Will be expected to float to PCU/CCU and all inpatient units
Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience . Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend required
On-Call Requirements: None

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
