Travel LVN / Correctional Health – Days

📍 Texas
📅 Start Date: ASAP
📆 13-Week Contract
⏰ 40 Hours/Week Guaranteed
🕐 Days | 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Job Details

Potential to extend
OT available based on performance
Float/divert as needed within area locations
Monthly schedules subject to change
Orientation in Conroe, Gatesville, or Beaumont

Responsibilities

Medication pass in secure juvenile units
Cell-side med administration with officer escort
Clinic support between med passes
Accurate medication and refusal documentation
Coordinate with security and clinical staff
EMR charting and patient care support
Follow correctional health policies and procedures

Experience Preferred

Correctional health experience
Behavioral health experience
Pediatrics experience a plus
High-volume medication pass experience
Strong documentation skills
Adaptable in secure environments

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years LVN experience
IV Therapy experience required

Required Certifications

✔️ Active Texas or Compact LVN License
✔️ BLS
✔️ IV Therapy Certification (within 30 days if needed)

Additional Requirements

Drug screen and fingerprint clearance required
Must be fully compliant prior to start
COVID vaccine required (exemptions accepted)
