Job Title: CT / X-Ray Technologist

Department: Radiology (CT / X-Ray)
Employment Type: Travel / Contract
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT and X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders.
• Operate GE CT scanners (VCT 64-slice and Revolution 128-slice required).
• Ensure accurate image acquisition and proper positioning of patients.
• Maintain patient safety, including adherence to radiation protection protocols.
• Document imaging procedures using EPIC EMR and McKesson PACS systems.
• Assist in imaging across multiple departments including CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department.
• Float to other imaging areas as needed to meet departmental demands.
• Maintain imaging equipment and report any technical issues.
  
  Department Overview
• CT: 4 rooms
• MRI: 2 rooms
• X-Ray: 3 rooms + Endo, OR, and portable imaging
• Nuclear Medicine: 2 rooms + PET
• Ultrasound: 3 rooms
• Interventional Radiology: 2 rooms
• Mammography: 3 rooms
  
  Work Schedule & Requirements
• Shifts: Varied (assigned by supervisor; no self-scheduling)
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• On-call/standby: Required (varied schedule and response time)
• Orientation: 1–2 department-specific shifts
  Qualifications & Requirements
• Certifications required:
  • ARRT (CT)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum experience: CT or X-ray experience preferred
• Experience with GE CT scanners and/or EPIC EMR required
• Strong adaptability, teamwork, and willingness to learn
