NE or compact state RN license
ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
1 year Cardiac Cath Lab, IR, Critical Care or MS required. Previous experience in hemodynamic monitoring skills and ECG interpretative skills preferred.

Tasking in other areas like ER and the inpatient nursing units when slow.  
Two procedure rooms; will be expected to help in CT, US, Nuc Med, and MRI also.

Responsible for identifying patient needs and priorities for care through assessment, planning care based on patient needs, and consistent with the patient’s expectation of treatment. Executes therapeutic physician or nursing-initiated interventions and evaluates the patient’s response to care and the attainment progress toward patient outcomes. Assists in all procedures performed in the Invasive Cardiology / Interventional Radiology Labs. Through documentation and verbal communication, coordinates care between other professional disciplines as needed. Performs unit-based activities which contribute to a positive work and professional environment. Some common procedures would be Left heart caths, Pacemakers, Pacemaker Generator exchanges, Loop recorders, PICC line insertion, tube/drain placements.
