Description
Units: SICU
Clinical Interviews
Active LA/Comp License for submission.
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Experience Required: 2 years. Will accept a first-time traveler. Stroke experience, Ventilator management, assist with intubation/extubation, CVL (management/placement), foley cath management, tube feedings via NGT or PEG. Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival.
RN: 1:2
Patient Types: Respiratory Failure, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Diabetes, Neuro (craniotomies, spinal surgery, TBI), Surgical patients (General, Total joints, Urology, Neuro).
Floating: Units: Stepdown, Stroke unit, Medsurg. could float frequently to MedSurg – ensure traveler comfortability during interview.

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.
Cons
Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
