Pay: $2781 weekly

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse to provide high-acuity post-anesthesia care across a diverse surgical population. This role involves managing patients through Phase I and Phase II recovery with strong emphasis on airway management, sedation recovery, and safe discharge readiness.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Phase I and Phase II PACU recovery care
• Monitor post-anesthesia patients and manage airway stability
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation and reversal agents
• Manage pain control, sedation levels, and hemodynamic stability
• Perform pre-op and post-op assessments and education
• Support recovery for a wide range of surgical specialties
• Float to Pre-Op, Phase I, and Phase II recovery areas as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 1 year PACU experience (ICU or ED experience preferred)
• Strong airway management and critical care skillset
• Experience with IV therapy, sedation, and emergency medications
• Ability to manage post-op recovery across multiple specialties
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

Required Certifications

• Active AHA BLS
• Active AHA ACLS
• Active AHA PALS

Unit Details

• Float required to Pre-Op and Phase I/II recovery
• Every other weekend required
