Job Title: Registered Nurse – CVICU
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Shift: Night Shift (3x12 Hours)
Duration: 12 Weeks

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients with a 1:2 ratio
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status including PA catheters and arterial lines
• Care for post-cardiac surgery patients, including open heart recovery
• Manage advanced cardiac devices such as LVAD, Impella, IABP, and temporary pacemakers
• Administer and titrate vasoactive drips, sedation, and cardiac medications
• Perform ventilator management and respiratory support (BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC)
• Deliver CRRT/Prismaflex therapy and manage complex renal cases
• Assist with bedside procedures including trachs and PEG placements
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience
• Prior travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Strong experience with cardiac devices (LVAD, Impella, IABP required)
• Experience with CRRT and ECMO preferred
• Ability to float across ICU units (CVICU, MICU, Neuro ICU)

Certifications:

• BLS (AHA)
• ACLS
