Travel Neuro ICU RN – Nights | Coastal Virginia

We are hiring an experienced Neuro ICU RN for a high-acuity travel assignment in Chesapeake, VA—just minutes from Virginia Beach!

Job Details:

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 (OT after 48 hrs)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start: ASAP
Weekends/Holidays: Required (EOW)
Float: Stepdown / ED / Med-Surg (ICU-level patients)

Responsibilities:

Care for high-acuity Neuro ICU patients
Manage vents, EVDs, ICP monitoring, and post-neurosurgical cases
Titrate cardiac & vasoactive drips
Perform telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Provide critical care for stroke, trauma, and multi-system patients

Requirements (Hard Stops):

Active VA or Compact RN License (in hand)
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA)
Strong Neuro ICU experience (EVD, stroke, post-neuro surgery)
Minimum 1–3 years Critical Care experience
Epic EMR required
Must have NO license or background hits
Must live 50+ miles from facility (no locals)
