Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide high-quality perioperative care. The RN will be responsible for both scrubbing and circulating duties, ensuring patient safety, maintaining sterile technique, and supporting the surgical team throughout procedures.

Location Requirement:

• Must live 50 miles away from the facility

Shift Details:

• Shift: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
• On-Call: One 12-hour call every other weekend

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state/district – Required
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – Required
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
• BSN – Highly preferred

Experience Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room (OR) experience – Required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform scrubbing and/or circulating duties for surgical procedures
• Prepare the operating room for procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functional
• Maintain sterile field and adhere to aseptic techniques
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate intraoperative patient care
• Assist surgeons and surgical team during procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments, implants, and equipment
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with protocols
