CT Technologist – Radiology (Computed Tomography)

• Hours: 40/week | Total Hours: 2,088
• Shifts: Rotating (Day/Evening/Night) | Facility operates 24/7
• Day Shift: Mon–Fri (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM)
• On-Call: Weeknights, Weekends & Holidays (Pager Coverage Required)
• Schedule: ~20–22 shifts/month | Timesheet: Weekly

📄 Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment in a hospital setting. The role requires strong technical expertise, patient care skills, and the ability to work in fast-paced and emergency environments.

🩺 Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging as per physician orders
• Prepare and position patients to obtain high-quality images
• Administer contrast media following safety protocols
• Monitor patient condition during procedures
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Document and upload imaging results in PACS/RIS systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams

📋 Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years CT Technologist experience (hospital/acute care)
• License: Active Radiologic Technologist License (Any U.S. State)
• Certifications Required:
  • ARRT (R) – Radiography
  • ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography
  • BLS (AHA)
