Description
Job Title: CT Technologist – Radiology (CT Scan)
Facility: Munson Healthcare – Munson Medical Center
Location: Traverse City, Michigan
Contract Duration: !3-week (Potential for extension)
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (Contract)
Position Overview
Munson Healthcare is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join the Radiology Department at Munson Medical Center. This role involves performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and diagnostic accuracy.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cannon and GE CT scanners and be comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Schedule
- Shift: Day Shift (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: Every other Saturday
- Holiday Requirement: Yes
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, including Cannon and GE scanners
- Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during procedures
- Administer contrast materials as required and monitor patient reactions
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal diagnostic outcomes
- Follow radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in Applied Science (Radiologic Technology or related field)
- Minimum experience as a CT Technologist in a clinical setting (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient care standards
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Certifications & Licensure
- ARRT (CT) Certification – Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
