Location: Tucson, AZ 85712
Contract Length: 12 Weeks

Schedule: Day Shift | 5x8s (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer for a 12-week travel assignment in Tucson, AZ. This role requires advanced expertise in both fetal echocardiography and pediatric echocardiography. The ideal candidate will have extensive pediatric cardiac imaging experience, strong fetal echo skills, and the ability to work independently in a specialized pediatric cardiology setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality pediatric echocardiograms in an outpatient specialty cardiology setting
- Perform fetal echocardiography studies independently
- Acquire and analyze diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images for congenital and acquired pediatric heart conditions
- Provide accurate imaging and preliminary technical findings for physician interpretation
- Support complex pediatric and fetal cardiac imaging workflows
- Maintain high-quality imaging standards and protocol compliance
- Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and multidisciplinary specialty teams
- Document studies accurately and efficiently
- Participate in quality improvement and departmental initiatives as needed
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a CAAHEP or ACCSC accredited cardiac sonography program or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years of full-time pediatric cardiac sonography experience
- Proven leadership experience in pediatric cardiac imaging
- Must be able to perform both fetal echo and pediatric echo independently
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – Pediatric (RDCS PE) or CCI Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS)
- ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer – Fetal (RDCS FE) or RDMS FE
- Current BLS through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 months of fetal cardiac program experience preferred
- Membership in professional societies such as ASE, SDMS, or AIUM preferred
