Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-volume Level II Trauma Center. This role involves managing a wide range of emergent conditions, including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and critical respiratory cases.
📋 Job Details
- Start Date: June 1, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts
- Block Scheduling: Available (4/3 or 6/8 patterns)
- Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1:3

- ER Volume: ~136 patients/day

🩺 Core Responsibilities
- Perform triage, rapid assessment, and emergency interventions
- Manage high-acuity patients (trauma, stroke, cardiac, respiratory)
- Administer IV medications including vasopressors
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry
- Provide care for ventilated and critical patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced ER environment
🧠 Requirements (Strict)
- Minimum 2+ years ER experience (HARD STOP)
- Strong skills in triage, emergency response, and critical care
- Community hospital experience required
- Travel experience preferred (not mandatory for strong candidates)
