Description
RN – NICU (Maternal Child Health)
Location: Ithaca, NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (36 hrs/week)
Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $37/hr
Weekly Stipend: $1,568 (non-taxable)
Job Summary:
Provides direct patient care within the Maternal Child Health department, focusing on NICU and postpartum populations. Collaborates with unit leadership and interdisciplinary teams while following established standards (AWONN, ACOG, NNA, AORN). Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care including physical, emotional, and educational needs.
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Nursing (minimum)
- Active NY RN License
- BLS required (upon hire)
- ACLS, PALS, NRP required within 6 months
- NICU / postpartum experience preferred
- Strong clinical and communication skills
