Description

LPN Duties include completing an average of 40-50 medication refills daily, completing daily refill audits and cart audits on approximately 15 medication carts, going through property bags, delivering refills, packing up transfer medications and charting OOF medications
Due to RN staffing, at times, the LPN's may assist with intake medications documentation if no changes are needed to current orders
LPN team members also are responsible for checking all overdue medication tasks throughout the institution for four medication passes and ensuring those are rectified
LPNs maintain and manage our emergency carts as well as sharps/needle count and supply
They administer nurse-controlled medications four times a day
In addition, the LPN team members are responsible for rectified medications during housing unit transfers, which includes the physical movement of the medications
AM / PM shift dependent on operational needs (0530-1400 / 1:30pm 10:00pm) with rotating weekends and holidays
