Facility: Murrells Inlet Free Standing ED – Grand Strand Medical Center

Tell us about the unit(s):
· Number of Beds: Free-Standing ED only (no OP or IP imaging)
· Number of Staff: 1 CT/RAD Tech per shift
o Day Shift: Yes
o Night Shift: Yes
· Patient Ratios (Estimated) - 1 Tech per shift (avg 10-20 CT rad exams per shift)
· Type of Equipment: GE 64 Slice CT, GE Digital X-ray, GE portable x-ray
· Documentation System: Meditech
· Call Requirements: 2 Call shifts per month
Must have: (includes certifications and special skills, ex: ACLS, BLS, NIH)
· ARRT Rad Tech Certification
· SCQRSA Certification (SC Rad Tech license)
· CT certification preferred – CT experience / knowledge required.
· BLS
List Typical Procedures Performed on Unit(s):
· Routine CT and Diagnostic X-ray procedures for small free-standing ED
Additional Preferences: (ex: previous travel experience preferred, easily adaptable to fast paced unit, can function well independently)
· Must be proficient in both CT and Diagnostic radiology
