Medical Technologist (10k sign-on, 3rd shift Th-Sun)

Work Schedule: Thursday-Sunday, 9p-7a, Thurs-Sun

Overview

We are seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) or experienced MLT (3rd Shift) to join our blood bank team. This role operates in a low-staffed overnight environment, requiring independence, confidence, and strong technical skills.

Schedule

• 3rd Shift (4x10 schedule; approx. 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform blood bank testing and transfusion support independently
• Handle routine and complex cases, including:
  • Oncology patients
  • Transplant cases
  • Emergency transfusions (trauma, hemorrhage)
• Collaborate with one additional technologist on shift
• Ensure accurate and timely results in critical situations
• Follow all SOPs and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• MT (ASCP) preferred, MLT considered with strong experience
• Minimum 3 years of blood bank experience required
• Proven ability to work independently in a high-pressure environment
