Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Operating Room Circulator to support surgical services in a fast-paced clinical setting. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care throughout the surgical process. 

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care in the operating room as a circulating nurse
• Perform patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Communicate important patient information to the surgical team and support staff
• Supervise and delegate tasks as appropriate to ensure safe, efficient care
• Document all care accurately and in a timely manner
• Identify and help resolve issues that may impact patient outcomes 

Schedule

• Combination of (2) 8-hour shifts and (2) 12-hour shifts
• Start times: 6:50 AM – 3:20 PM or 6:50 AM – 7:20 PM
• Weekend rotation:
  • (1) 12-hour weekend shift every 5–6 weeks
  • (1) 8-hour weekend call shift every 2 months
• Opportunity to pick up additional shifts
• Overtime paid after 48 hours

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent experience as a OR-RN Circulator
• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS certification
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
