🏥 ICU RN Travel Assignment – New York

Start Date: June 15
Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
Unit: ICU
Duration: 13 Weeks (Typical)

💼 Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity unit in New York. This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong critical care skills, including advanced cardiac and trauma care exposure. Candidates must be comfortable working across multiple ICU specialties and handling complex patient conditions.

📌 Unit Details

• Total Beds: 42
  • Neuro/Med ICU: 22
  • CTICU: 6
  • Surgical/Trauma ICU: 14
• Common Diagnoses:
  • Stroke, Sepsis, AMS
  • Respiratory Failure, CHF, Post-STEMI
  • Neuro Interventions (TCAR)
  • Cardiogenic Shock, AAA
  • Trauma & Major Post-Op Cases

🛠️ Equipment & Skills Required

• CRRT (Prismaflex / NxStage)
• IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump)
• Ventriculostomy & ICP Monitoring
• TTM (Arctic Sun)
• Advanced ventilator management

✅ Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years ICU experience (Required in any of the following):
  • ICU / SICU / CTICU / Trauma ICU / Neuro ICU / MS ICU
• Travel experience REQUIRED
• Experience with CRRT & Prismaflex (MANDATORY)
• Cardiac/Heart experience HIGHLY preferred

📄 Submission Requirements

• Updated resume (must reflect ICU + travel experience)
• 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN references
• Skills checklist (matching specialty)
• Driver’s license (address must match profile)
• NURSYS report (ALL active licenses + Active NY RN License required)
• RTO (Requested Time Off) must be included at submission

📜 Certifications

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• NIHSS

• Floating: Required (All units except Behavioral Health & ER unless holding)
• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Block scheduling: Not guaranteed
