Description

- Active New York RN license (must be verified via NURSYS)
- 2+ years recent ED experience
- Travel experience REQUIRED (not first-time traveler friendly)
- Peds experience required (mixed population ER)
- TNCC must already be in hand (not āin progressā)
Required certs:
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- NIHSS
- TNCC (hard stop if missing)
EMR:
- Epic required

- 64-bed Emergency Department
- 40 acute beds
- 6 fast track (āsuper trackā)
- 2 trauma bays
- 10 CDU (clinical decision unit)
- 6 psych beds
- 2 triage areas
š Thatās a large, high-throughput ER
š©āāļø Patient Population
- Full spectrum:
- Newborns
- Pediatrics
- Adults
- Geriatrics
Common cases:
- Stroke
- Sepsis
- Trauma
- MI / cardiac arrest
- Respiratory failure
š You need to be comfortable with true mixed-acuity, all-age ER care
āļø Skills & Expectations
- Must be able to:
- Handle high-acuity emergencies
- Work with specialized equipment:
- Rapid infusor
- Arctic Sun (targeted temperature management)
- Charge nurse capability = highly preferred
- Big signal they want someone experienced and independent
