Facility: Charlotte, NC 28207
Unit Type: Interventional Radiology
Shift: 888-hour day shift, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM
Call/Weekends: No call, no weekend rotation

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a busy IR department in Charlotte, NC. This role supports a high-volume inpatient, outpatient, observation, and ED population, performing a variety of vascular and image-guided procedures in collaboration with radiology nursing, anesthesia, and the broader care team.

- Licensed for 244 beds.
- Services include X-Ray, CT, Ultrasound, MRI, Interventional Radiology, and Nuclear Medicine.
- TJC Stroke accredited.
- No trauma designation.
- Radiology Nursing support available.
- Free surface lot and deck parking.
- Hospital greens provided.
Department Details
- Typical inpatient census is near full capacity.
- Average of 888 procedures per day.
- Current coverage is Monday-Friday only,
- No after-hours, weekend, or holiday call coverage.
- First-time travelers accepted.
- Minimum 222 years of experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an ANA-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or accredited Radiology Interventional Program.
- ARRT registry required.
- BLS certification required.
- Strong procedure-based IR experience.
- Experience with vascular access, embolization, arterial procedures, and 3D imaging.
- Strong communication and technical skills.
Preferred Experience
- Siemens equipment experience.
- SonoSite ultrasound experience.
- Epic and Epic Radiant experience.
- Philips iSite PACS experience.
- Familiarity with IVUS and Bayer/Medrad power injectors.
Equipment and Technology
- EMR: Epic.
- RIS: Epic Radiant.
- PACS: Philips iSite.
- Siemens Icono Suite.
- IVUS.
- Sonosite ultrasound.
- Bayer/Medrad power injector.
Orientation
- 111 day of administrative onboarding.
- 222 days to 111 week of departmental orientation, as needed.
Additional Notes
- Guest Services/Transport support provided for inpatient and observation patients.
- RTO requires manager approval.
- Traveler must live at least 50 miles outside the home unit.
