Job Title: Regional Occupational Therapist (Inpatient Acute Care)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and flexible Occupational Therapist to provide inpatient acute care services across multiple hospital settings. This regional role offers a dynamic work environment, allowing clinicians to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services while rotating between two facilities within the same healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients in an inpatient acute care setting
• Perform patient evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery goals, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic medical records

Schedule & Work Setting:

• Full-time schedule: 36–40 hours per week with flexibility
• Work split between two facilities (e.g., 3 days at one location, 2 days at another, or vice versa)
• Day shift with some weekend coverage (including at least one weekend day, flexible scheduling)

Requirements:

• Active state license as an Occupational Therapist
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant inpatient experience preferred
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred
• Ability to adapt to multiple clinical environments and patient populations

• Start is contingent upon successful completion of required EMR testing
