Now Hiring: RN – CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Location: Detroit, MI
Pay Rate: $65/hour, paid weekly
Contract Length: 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity

We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to join a high-performing surgical team in Detroit. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment delivering specialized cardiac care while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes.

Overview:

In this role, you will provide leadership in delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care within the cardiovascular operating room. You’ll use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while collaborating closely with the surgical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver patient care throughout the surgical process
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status before, during, and after procedures
• Communicate important patient updates with the healthcare team
• Support patient and family education
• Identify and help resolve any gaps in patient care plans

Requirements:

• Active Michigan RN license
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Operating Room (OR) experience required
• Cardiac scrub experience required

Schedule & Details:

• Shift Options:
  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Flexible scheduling: 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s (all starting at 6:00 AM)
• On-Call Requirement: 48 hours every 6 weeks
• Must be available for 1 weekend per month
