Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laboratory Technician to support clinical and/or research laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine laboratory procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring accurate and timely test results in compliance with established protocols and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures in accordance with standard operating protocols
• Prepare and process specimens, including labeling, handling, and documentation
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of test results and maintain detailed records
• Follow strict safety, infection control, and quality assurance guidelines
• Assist in troubleshooting equipment and procedural issues
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and reagents
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient workflow

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biology, or related field
• Prior experience in a clinical or research laboratory setting preferred
• Knowledge of laboratory safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with laboratory information systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or equivalent
• Experience with automated laboratory equipment
• Familiarity with quality control and assurance procedures
