Description

Required Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications REQUIRED
Epic charting experience REQUIRED
Strong PCU skills including telemetry and cardiac drips (titration experience required)

Shift: Nights – 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Contract Length: 16 Weeks

Key Responsibilities

Provide high‑acuity PCU / stepdown nursing care (ratios typically 1:3–1:4)
Manage patients requiring: Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management, BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, and non‑invasive airway support, Arterial lines, PCA pumps, epidurals, and insulin drips
Administer blood products, chemotherapy (as applicable), and IV therapies
Care for complex oncology patients including BMT, leukemia, hematology, and surgical oncology
Maintain strict infection prevention and fall‑risk protocols

⚠️ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS – Minimum 2+ years of high‑acuity PCU (or higher) experience REQUIRED Experience must be within the last 3 years At least 1 year of CURRENT PCU specialty experience required Travel experience REQUIRED Candidates who do not meet these requirements will not be considered. Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
