Description

ICU Registered Nurse — Critical Care Excellence in a Trauma Level I & II Facility

Are you a dedicated ICU Nurse ready to make a difference in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment? Join a renowned Trauma Level I & II facility, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes. We’re seeking passionate professionals to provide top-tier critical care, support precepting new team members, and thrive in a dynamic setting that values your skills and commitment.

Required Skills:

  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment abilities
  • Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:2 in a busy ICU environment
  • Flexibility to float within ICU departments as needed
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health records
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills:

  • CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications
  • Prior experience in trauma or high-acuity care settings
  • Experience as a preceptor or mentor for new staff

Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice
  • At least 2 years of ICU or critical care experience, preferably in trauma hospitals
  • Previous experience with trauma levels I and II is a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Night shift availability, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
  • Ability to work every other weekend
  • Scrubs provided on shift
  • Willingness to travel to a vibrant city in a fast-growing healthcare community
