Description
ICU Registered Nurse — Critical Care Excellence in a Trauma Level I & II Facility
Are you a dedicated ICU Nurse ready to make a difference in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment? Join a renowned Trauma Level I & II facility, where your expertise will directly impact patient outcomes. We’re seeking passionate professionals to provide top-tier critical care, support precepting new team members, and thrive in a dynamic setting that values your skills and commitment.
Required Skills:
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment abilities
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:2 in a busy ICU environment
- Flexibility to float within ICU departments as needed
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records
- Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications
- Prior experience in trauma or high-acuity care settings
- Experience as a preceptor or mentor for new staff
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active RN license in the state of practice
- At least 2 years of ICU or critical care experience, preferably in trauma hospitals
- Previous experience with trauma levels I and II is a plus
Other Requirements:
- Night shift availability, 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Ability to work every other weekend
- Scrubs provided on shift
- Willingness to travel to a vibrant city in a fast-growing healthcare community
