Job Summary:

• Deliver care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide patient- and family-centered care with a focus on comfort, education, and satisfaction
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and evidence-based practice
• Participate in mentoring, precepting, and professional development

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform ongoing patient assessments and make sound clinical decisions
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans
• Monitor and document patient responses to interventions
• Educate patients and families throughout hospitalization and discharge
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
• Promote a safe, clean, and compliant care environment
• Participate in quality improvement and unit-based initiatives
• Utilize effective communication and support cost-efficient care delivery

Qualifications:

• Active RN license (IN license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years RN experience
• Epic EMR experience required

Certifications Required:

• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP (Advanced)
• STABLE
• EFM certification (must be current certification, not just course completion)

Schedule:

• Night Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
• Every other weekend required
