Description

Position Overview:

 

The Home Health Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care to adult patients, primarily an elderly population, in their homes. This role focuses on comprehensive assessments, management of chronic and acute disease processes, and delivery of advanced clinical care while meeting productivity expectations based on a point system.

 

Schedule & Work Details:

  • Weekly Hour Guarantee: 32 hours
  • Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • Pay Rate: $51–$53 per hour
  • Travel Requirement: Yes, daily travel from patient home to patient home
  • Work Environment: Patient homes
  • Primary Work Location: Springdale, AR 72764
  • Productivity Expectations:
  • Minimum of 6 points per day required
  • 32 hours per week equals 24 points
  • 40 hours per week equals 30 points

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive OASIS assessments and ongoing skilled nursing evaluations
  • Provide advanced wound care, ostomy care, catheter changes, and management of IV therapy, PICC lines, and central lines
  • Deliver basic medical-surgical nursing care to patients age 18 and older, primarily managing chronic and acute illnesses in the home setting
  • Accurately document patient care, assessments, and outcomes in compliance with home health standards
  • Coordinate care and communicate regularly with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Required Qualifications:
  • Active Arkansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to work independently and manage a home health caseload

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior home health nursing experience
  • OASIS documentation experience
