Location: Charleston, SC

Address: 9330 Medical Plaza Drive  

Unit: PET/ NUC MED

Building: Main hospital

 

General Information

Unit Specifics:

·         Number of Beds :  321

·         Patient Ratios :     n/a

·         Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : n/a

·         Type of equipment :  GE Discovery 630 and GE Infinia; Xeleris 5 software, GE 8 slice PET CT scanner

·         Documentation system: Meditech

·         Scheduling requirements: Mon-Friday 7-3:30 (8 hr shift) begin times could vary by an hour

1 week day call with weekend call every 4th or 5th weekend.

·         Floating policy:  n/a

·         Patient Experience requirements:  AIDET training

Hospital Specifics-

·         Certifications: BLS/ACLS, ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) registry required

Requested Skill Set:

 

Must have:

·         Highly organized with multitasking skills as well as being efficient in time management and able to work autonomously

Advanced skills needed:  n/a

 

Procedures performed on unit: Nuc Med: Nuclear Stress Test, Cardiac Amyloidosis, MUGA, Parathyroid scans, V/Q with pulmonex, GI Bleed, Hida, Gastric Empty, Bone Scans, DaTscans, Brain Flow, Renogram, Thyroid Uptake and Scan, Cisternograms

PET CT: Oncology, prostate and amyvid PET scans 

 

Certifications Required:

·         CNMT or ARRT (NM), ARRT (CT)

 

Dress Code: (Required uniform)

·          Gray scrubs
