PAY:
Hourly Pay: $41/hr on W2
Housing Stipend: $700 weekly
Meals: $540 weekly
Weekly Gross: $2880 weekly for 40 hours
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position - CT Technologist
Location - 1000 Medical Center Boulevard, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
JOB DETAILS:
Duration - 13 weeks
Shift - Mon to Thu, 7:30 pm to 6 am (10X4 shift) // 40 hours weekly
Level 2 trauma center with proficiency in trauma stroke, cardiovascular, procedural and routine exams for all. Types of patients from emergency, inpatient and outpatient services. Operates computerized tomography equipment to produce films of designated portions of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform computed tomography (CT) scans as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare and position patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and ensuring comfort and safety.
Administer contrast media (IV/oral) and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality.
Evaluate images for quality, accuracy, and completeness before submission to radiologists.
Follow radiation safety protocols (ALARA principles) to minimize exposure to patients and staff.
Monitor patient condition during procedures and respond to emergency situations as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR/PACS systems.
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams to support diagnosis and treatment.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Perform portable and emergency CT scans when required.
Maintain inventory of supplies and report equipment issues promptly.
REQUIREMENT:
At least 2 years of experience within the specialty - Required
ARRT (CT) required.
