Schedule:

• Monday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Sunday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Every other weekend and possible holiday rotations required

Job Summary:
The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with a dedicated clinical care team to provide evidence-based primary and family care to patients in a retail clinic setting. This role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment, chronic disease management, patient education, and wellness counseling to support positive patient health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide evidence-based primary and family care services to patients.
• Perform accurate patient assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health conditions.
• Conduct routine patient examinations and diagnostic testing.
• Counsel patients on healthy lifestyle choices and preventative healthcare.
• Support chronic condition management and behavioral health initiatives.
• Coordinate care plans with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Encourage patients to actively participate in their healthcare and wellness goals.
• Perform administrative responsibilities including clinic opening/closing procedures.
• Manage inventory and maintain a clean and organized clinic environment.
• Verify insurance information and collect payments when necessary.
• Conduct patient follow-up activities and maintain accurate documentation.
• Utilize electronic medical systems for charting and patient care documentation.
• Work independently while collaborating within a clinical care team structure.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current National Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Ohio Nurse Practitioner license in good standing with no disciplinary actions.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Primary Care experience as a Nurse Practitioner in family medicine, primary care, or urgent care.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision.
• Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Systems (EMS/EMR platforms).
• Working knowledge of quality measures and chronic disease management.
• Verifiable High School Diploma or GED required.
• DEA registration application may be required during onboarding unless otherwise noted.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure.
• Flexibility for occasional float coverage or travel if needed.
• Prior experience working within a retail clinic environment.
