Description
Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology/Hematology
Minimum of 2 years of experience
BLS, ACLs, ONS & Biotherapy cert
IN/compact license required.
• Weekend Shift Hours: 24 every third weekend
• Float Requirements: will float to like units which include stepdown and critical care units as well as oncology
• Must Have Experience: Stepdown, Critical Care, blood administration, electrolyte replacement, neuro assessment skills, central line dressing changes, high risk and hazardous drug administration.
• Number of Beds: 17
• Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
• Equipment: Vents, Alaris Pumps, Phillips monitors, Stryker beds, Sara Steady, patient lifts
• EMR: EPIC, Beacon
• Type of Patients on Unit: Hematology and Bone marrow transplant patients requiring blood and electrolyte replacement, neuro assessments, long term IV therapy, chemotherapy, and physical therapy needs.

I have worked with this company for 3, along with a few others, and they have been great! They seem to be very appreciative of their staff and always sending appreciative gifts to you. I can’t say much now that they have joined TotalMed, but am looking forward to see what develops.
Cons
Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
