Description
Job Duties:
Monitoring fetal heart rates and contractions, administering medications, assisting physicians/midwives, handling emergency care (e.g., C-sections), and providing newborn care, with a focus on patient safety, education, and emotional support.
Monitoring for postpartum complications (hemorrhage), assessing newborn health, assisting with skin-to-skin contact, and guiding breastfeeding.
Job Requirements:
- Must have 2 yrs of L&D RN experience
- Will be required to float to post-partum when needed.
- MA Active RN license
Certifications:
- BLS, ACLS (AHA)Certification required
- NRP fetal monitoring certification Required
**Shift - Nights, 7p-7a (4*12) every other weekend required, every other holiday required, no call**
